Washington DC

This past August Mike's family had an Ellsworth/Brallier reunion up in DC. I decided to go up a few days before the reunion started and have the Sampsons come with us, since they'd never been there. It was fun to go with them and experience all the capital has to offer. Cheryl would drive me and Nicole's baby down town, while Nicole would take the other kids on the metro. We'd meet up and visit monuments, until the younger kids were ready to go home. Then Cheryl and I would take the two girls, and the baby home, while Nicole and the boys would stay. It actually worked out really well.

The kids on day two of the trip....they were pretty tired. Nicole made sure that the boys saw all they could. We'd leave around 10am and she wouldn't return until about 9pm.

Lincoln Memorial. Thanks to "Night at the Museum" the kids recognized the different monuments and they were excited to see them.
